Retreat FAQ
First of all – Jesus! But we are also going to be joined by Jen Weaver, bible teacher, ministry coach, and host of the Good God Talks Podcast; Carrie Long, traditional naturopath, holistic wellness expert, and Revelation Wellness instructor; Ramona Soileau, engineer, bible and prophecy teacher; Jessica White Davis, pastoral counselor, inner healing & deliverance ministry, Robin Hill, mother, grandmother, and spiritual mother to many; and Heather Howell, ministry leader, holistic health & life coach, and healing & freedom counselor. Because there is a heavy emphasis on healing and freedom be reassured we have people trained and trauma-informed in attendance and part of the team. We will also have a trained prayer team for ministry. I cannot express how much we will hold fast to the integrity of the word of God, Holy Spirit, and the full ministry of Jesus, so not one denomination’s theology will be dominating. Our goal is unity and humility. These two factors usher in the presence of God and revival. This is our prayer and intentionality.
You will arrive on Friday evening and leave out on Sunday before lunch. Detailed schedule to be announced. But during this time together you will have 4 delicious meals together (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday). You will worship. You will PRAY. You will hear stories from other women. You are not alone. You will be encouraged. You will laugh. You will cry. You will HEAL. You will find freedom. You will be LOVED. You will be ministered to by a team of women. But, most of all, you will be ministered to by God himself. And for that reason, come expecing to encounter Him.
It is for all women, age 18 & up. You do not have to be a mother. In fact, we welcome younger women who would love to be loved on by mothers and who also have a heart for their generation or those coming behind them. Bottomline, we welcome any woman – young or old who wants to rise up and be all she was created to be, who wants to be revived and rise. For such a time as this…
While we here at Moms Rising Together love children and understand that some mothers also might find it hard to get away from their children, especially if nursing, because the nature and vision of this retreat AND the accommodations are such that we are in cabins with bunks, we are not allowing any children.
