Moms Rising Together Happenings
Here at Moms Rising Together we encourage you to pray and ask God for one, two, or a small group of safe sisters to rise together. Studies show we are more like to stay the course and succeed when we have accountability. We were designed and created for community too. Isolation is a scheme of the enemy to keep us from living life and life more abundantly. We are like sheep that have all gone astray is what the word tells us. It also tells that Satan prowls around like a lion looking for someone to devour. Because of this, like sheep, we are safer in a flock. We are safer together. And a safe sister group that prays, heals, and loves is for sure life-giving.
Safe Sister – A friend you can confess your junk to and not only do they love you, not judge you, but they can also remind you of truth, God’s word, AND most of all, they pray with you so that you can be healed. These friends know your heart and you trust theirs.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
